CGQC Mini Quilt 'SURPRISE' Swap!?!?!

Well, we received our information about our swap.  Due to the odd number of members - it's going to be a SURPRISE swap!  Now that the swap has been put into motion, I'm feeling really nervous.  I mean, I've never done a swap & everyone in the CGQC are like totally awesome, talented, crafty ladies.  And they will probably do amazing stuff and here I am fretting over 'How am I going to keep up?'.  I feel like dropping to my knees, arms extended, bending over and saying 'I'm not worthy!'.  I just want to do a great job...know what I mean?

I got it, while I'm having a nice cup of (Keurig) coffee, I can start thinking, planning about my project.  Hopefully, it won't turn into a nightmare...talk to y'all later!

  2. Michelle, I am experiencing the same anxiety. I have all my books out wondering which project I am going to make. But is this ever fun!

  4. Hi M!

Don't you even worry about what you are going to make! Just look at all of the great quilts that you have made and see if you can get some inspiration from them.

Have fun playing with your fabric!

  5. OMG, I thought I was the only one with anxiety about this. I've been searching for a pattern and I think I've finally found it. The way I see it is I'll have fun, learn alot along the way and make great friends.

  6. That's so sweet that you care so much, Michelle. You do lovely work, and I'm sure your swap partner will love whatever you make. Maybe a scroll through your blog would help to remind you what lovely things you've already made--so you can relax, and just enjoy!
