- Quilt & bind the Simplicity quilt.
- Piece, quilt & bind the Blueberry Suprize quilt.
- Crazy Jack wall hanging.
- Dinosaur Uproar (my secret mission quilt - I just want it to be done in time for Christmas)
I'm on a mission! I would like to get the first 3 projects done this month. The dinosaur quilt is being done behind my little man's back. I even have to make sure any scraps of the fabric are put up because even at his age he will notice the different color/patterns. I should have named him Chickenhawk.
If you are not a member, you have til the 7th (I think) to join (to be included in the Sept. UFO group). There are a lot of talented ladies in this group. Oh, and the best part is - for each project done, you get an entry into that months drawing for a chance at (2) $25.00 gift certificates to Kelly's store! If that's not enough incentive, I don't know what is!
Glad to hear that your DH is continuing to do well after his accident. You have a lot of work to do this month for CGQC, I think you like a challenge :^)
ReplyDeleteSooooo glad to hear your husband is getting better, but I had sensed he would recuperate quite quickly with the love that surrounded him..I was thinking of him today because the community where I was working in, is getting ready for "Wharf Rat Motorcycle Rally" and it has 10's of thousands of bikers visiting.
ReplyDeleteI love your choice of projects and I am looking forward to seeing them finished. Who did you say was so talented???? In my book her name is Michelle.
Hugs!
You bring it on girl! I know you can do it!
ReplyDeleteI love your fabric choices!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the Simplicity quilt! Such pretty fabrics. Too funny on your Chickenhawk. I was the same way when sewing for my two when they were young. HIDE EVERY SCRAP!! :D
ReplyDeleteI want to start a graduation quilt for my son soon and have to time that when he isnt' around...uhhhh, he is homeschooled, this might be tough.
