It's been a while..

since I've seen deer in our backyard - during the day.  And every time one appears, I'm like a kid in a candy store.  I always get that feeling of amazement when I see deer roaming around our house.  Even though I was taking her picture (yesterday around 5:30pm) from in the house, the flash went off and she didn't even flinch...lol!  So after she left, I went ahead and took a picture of Verna.  I can now cross it off my list.

  3. I love when hubby and I go on the quad 'deer-looking". A few months ago, the kids saw a dozen plus deer on the side of our house as they pulled up in their truck. Did I see them? No -

But hubby and I did see a bobcat stalking along our driveway when we got home around 9-ish one evening last week....very sleek and never even flinched when we pulled up.
