Valentine's quilt
I just can't get the energy to start working on my Simplicity quilt. But I had enough to start a small/mini quilt for Valentine's day (hehehe!). See, I had some red fabric I won in an awesome giveaway this past summer from Kelly. And all I needed was something to go with it. I found a great deal on 'Love Is In The Air' layer cake over at JoJo's Gift Shoppe. Anyhoo, after making the 'baby' size version of the 'Baby Cakes' pattern, I had to find/order more fabric (imagine that!) to add a border to it. I guess while I'm waiting for the fabric I could work on my Simplicity quilt...or not. Hope all of you are having a good (& warm) week!

Hey M!
ReplyDeleteGreat Valentine's quilt. You know that I LOVE the red!
Wow! I love your Valentine quilt....
ReplyDeleteDon't you just hate it when a project just does not apppeal to you at that moment? It happened to me with the one I just brought to have quilted. And once I got going on it it went well and now it's all done! SO GLAD too.
Happy Sewing!
Cute fabrics! I love that pattern. :-)
ReplyDeleteI always start something new...even when I goaled up something else. LOL I love it though and you were right on the money...very cute.
ReplyDeleteThat's SO CUTE, Michelle! Such fun fabric, too! Don't you hate it when you have to buy fabric (giggle)! I always procrastinate on my troublesome quilts, too--it's hard to focus on those, when there are so many new things to make!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove your Valentine's Quilt---but How sad that you have to buy more fabric--bet you laughed through the whole order!!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Di&co
That is totally adorable! I was just thinking that I should make a mini quilt for Valentine's Day. Not that I need an excuse or anything like that to go shopping for a pattern and fabric! Now I'm really inspired!
ReplyDeleteI love your valentine quilt.
