$700.00

The Log-A-Load for Kids event this past Saturday night was amazing!  This Razorback quilt sold for $700.00...I know, CRAZY!  The two coolest parts about this quilt is that 16 people were involved with making this project happen and $700.00 will be going to The Arkansas Children's Hospital.  I'm just so happy to have been involved with the event this year.  I say this because this is the first year I was not on the committee.  After serving 12 years, the demand on my time has changed because I have a six year old.  But I'm okay with it because I will be making this type of quilt for the event next year and every year after...there are tons of Razorback fans here! I already have 2 t-shirts for next years quilt...lol!

Have a wonderful week!

Log-A-Load for Kids 2011

The Log-A-Load for Kids is an organization made up of people in the forestry and logging industry.  All the money raised is donated to the Arkansas Children's Hospital.  The event, for our county, is being held next Saturday and this is what I will be donating.  The bestest part about this quilt is that there were 13 people that donated the shirts & 3 that donated money for the supplies.  This is the end result - (if I do say so myself) an AWESOME quilt.  I am so happy with how it turned out.
