Day 8...

Welcome to my Ghastlie party!  I am a big fan of Halloween...I love the candy, costumes and the candy...lol!

For this Ghastlie event I made 2 wall hangings, Lil' Twister Table Topper & and an iron pad.

I love stars & was inspired by the 4 picture set you get from a photo booth...like the scene from the Karate Kid (the one with Ralph) where Daniel takes Allie to the arcade & they have their picture made...I digress...

I was inspired by the 'Quilting Ironing Pad' recipe on the Moda Bake Shop.  You can find it right here!  Thank you Kathy for sharing!
If you were following the Wantobe party, Melissa (guest #49) inspired me.  As soon as I finished reading the post, I ordered the Lil' Twister & the Big Twister...LOL!  You can go here to see the original post.

And then just for ducks, I went ahead & made this small wall hanging...

Please check out my other Ghastlie Sisssstaaahsss!!!

  3. I never would have thought of using the Ghastlies with the Twister ruler. I have made the large one and just cut blocks for the 'lil Twister. I guess you needed to be there. I will see it, too, if I win a fat qtr. pack. Good job and thanks.

  7. OOOO, I'd love to be entered in your giveaway for the fat quarters. I love your little twister quilt. I made one out of busy fabrics and did not alternate with the solid like you did. It came out much tooooooo busy, but I'm finishing it and it will probably end up as a charity quilt. I purchased some charm packs and will alternate with a solid or tone-on-tone for the my next one. I think I'm getting another addiction cuz they're just so cute!!
