Moda Bella Solid in Denim Blue

I'm not sponsored or anything like that but when there is a product out there that is just AWESOME - I want to share it.  I recently made a t-shirt quilt for Vickie and she picked denim blue & stone from the Moda Bella Solid collection.  Now I've used Moda's solids before but not the denim blue.  It's a beautiful dark blue and after I was able to touch it, I felt a small twinge...is this going to bleed?  I'm thinking...I'm not putting those t-shirts in harms way (work with me).  So, I did a test.  And there you have it, after about an hour, no bleeding.

  1. Thank you for posting this. I'm about to choose fabric for a blue and white quilt for DS and was panicking about colour bleeds.

  2. That's good to know because I wouldn't want to wash a jelly roll before I used it in a quilt. I had wondered if the darker colors would bleed on the lighter colors.
