Not to sound snobbish but I am in awe of this top. Also, I can't believe I did it. This was my first kit and it was intimidating (scary & fun at the same time)!!! How many of you are thinking back to your first kit? What a crazy month it has been. Now I just need to quilt & bind it...
It's beautiful, Michelle. Are you keeping this for yourself?
ReplyDeleteMost excellent Michelle! You go girl! It'll look awesome when it's all done. Kits are fun aren't they? (once you are sure you have enough fabric to finish the project that is!)
ReplyDeleteThere's lots of reason to love it - it's stunning.
ReplyDeleteI like it and I can tell that you also like it!
ReplyDeleteGosh it has been a crazy month and it is already over! Sheessh!
I love the French General fabric line and it looks fabulous in your quilt.
ReplyDeleteYou have done a brilliant job, it's a great quilt. Are you keeping it for yourself? Well done you!
ReplyDeleteOh I'm in awe too - that is beautiful!!!!! Congratulations! I've never done a kit.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! Well done! :0)
ReplyDeleteWow! I think it has all been said but I have to say it again...WOW! and more WOW!... Would you believe the first kit I ever bought is still in un-opened in my cupboard? You know how you walk into a quilt shop and the project is on display and you absolutely have to have it? That is what happened with this one my sister and I bought. It is a Christmas project and it has a lot of various techniques which I was not familiar with when we bought the kit so, yes, it was intimidating. 2010 is the year to get it done!
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt!
It is so so pretty! I can see why you are in awe of it :)
ReplyDeleteLooks perfect...good job getting it done!
ReplyDeleteSheesh, I don't know if I can think back that FAR!!
ReplyDeleteWait, hold on....hold on.......nope, can't think that far back...LOL
Seriously - I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one, Michelle.
It's gorgeous Michelle - I'd be proud of it, too! I love it, love it! You did a great job!
