2011 Christmas Quilt Show

For the 2011 Christmas Quilt Show, I'm sharing this Christmas wreath I made last year.  I used Makin' Friends by Deb Strain.  When I saw this recipe on the Moda Bake Shop Blog I knew I had to make one.  You can find the recipe here..

I'm keeping this post nice & short because there are many more beautiful quilts to see.  Just click here to see more...

Darlene...Thank you for hosting such a fun, festive event!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Pet's On Quilts Show 2011

This is the quilt I made for the Log-A-Load for Kids event last year.  But before I handed it over, I wanted to get a picture of it.  Out of nowhere, Snowball & Tiger show up like their TSA agents inspecting the goods.  It seemed like every picture I took, they were in it.  And it seemed like it took FOREVER for them to leave.  After looking over all the photos, I liked the first picture the best.  The one where Snowball is rubbing up against it.  I've even used in my header once.

Oh, and even though Snowball (male) & Tiger (female) are outside cats (you want outside cats when you live in a rural area) they both have been fixed.  No kittens here!  Or anywhere else for that matter.

Christmas Quilt Show

SewCalGal is hosting a virtual Christmas Quilt Show.  AWESOME!  And what do you know? I just happen to have completed my first Christmas wall hanging.  I completed the Half Pint a couple of weeks ago.  I was in a quilt along with some great ladies.  I used The Caroler by M.E. and even though the colors are not the traditional colors, the more I sewed with it the more the the colors grew on me.  Now I can't wait to make something else with that line.  Ok, now if you have a Christmas quilt & you want the world to see it...you need to go to SewCalGal blog & sign up...hope to see ya there!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
